Ce cours de résistance des matériaux a pour objectif d'approfondir la mécanique des solides élastiques, puis à partir de la mécanique des milieux continus, nous introduirons la théorie des poutres. Dans une première partie, nous étudierons la démarche qui nous permet l'établissement des équations de la théorie des poutres (une démarche similaire pourrait être utilisée pour les plaques et coques). Dans une deuxième partie, nous nous attacherons à exposer les outils classiques de la théorie des poutres: étude de cas simples, méthodes
énergétiques, …etc…
